The University of Liverpool is excited to announce a new exhibition at Paper Cup Coffee, Liverpool.
The exhibition explores stories from the island of Samos through photographs collected between 2018 and 2024 and interviews with people whose lives have become a part of the island’s story. Whether they moved to Samos for love, recovery, to claim refuge, to offer support to people on the move, to re-engage with their family roots or simply to visit, this exhibition explores how their lives have intersected, evolved, and intertwined over weeks, months, years and decades.
Join speakers on Thursday 24th October for an evening of discussion, focusing on questions and stories of displacement in Europe that bring different perspectives about the island, borders and the lives that intersect there.
The exhibition is also open to view from Tuesday 22nd October to Saturday 26th October during cafe opening hours.
